The faculty handbook is for all MAIS instructors. It is each instructors' responsibility to effectively communicate to his/her students what they can expect from the instructor and from the course. This is not something to simply post for students to read - different course contents and pedagogical approaches will require that these guidelines be modulated accordingly, and at least part of the intent is to bring instructors (especially new instructors) into closer contact with their students on all levels.
